Deakin fun facts:
- Deakin are the market leaders in the following areas.
- Psychology (Honours)
- Exercise and Sport Science
- Cyber Security
- Nursing
- Film, Television and Animation
- Deakin has been ranked No. 1 in Victoria for Student Experience 6 years in a row.

- In 2022, Deakin was ranked No. 1 in Victoria for Student Employment post completion.
- Deakin has a 70/30 split in students completing face to face and online studies.
My Deakin observations:
- Understanding option for plenty of courses and industries, including being a leader in a number of really popular university choices.
- Deakin has 4 campus locations, 1 in Burwood, 2 in Geelong and 1 in Warrnambool. This presents some great opportunities but also some challenges, as some courses are only run at Geelong, which would mean relocation if those courses were options for some of our students.
- The data about student experience and satisfaction is important, especially when you're considering 3 or more years of your life will be heavily associated with this institution.
