Fee Unit amendment

A reminder to note that from today, 1 July 2016, the application fee for a request for access to documents under s 17 of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Vic) (“FOI Act”) will be $27.90.

The Victorian Government Gazette (No. G15) dated 14 April 2016 contained a notice from the Treasurer advising that the value of one fee unit under the Monetary Units Act 2004 will, from 1 July 2016, be $13.94.

To assist agencies to calculate access charges based on fee units, FOI Solutions has prepared a free Excel Access Charges calculator. We are pleased to provide the calculator at no charge to any interested agencies and have this inserted below for your use.
