It's Show Business 

for Year 8

TEACHERS, TEACHERS!  Haven’t you heard?  There is no more coffee! 

That’s right, no more coffee…. Just kidding! We just wanted your attention. 

Show Business is a new Year 8 innovation elective for students who are interested in performing on a stage, writing scripts, acting, preparing lighting or even makeup. This is an elective that helps you innovate and work with other classmates to create a performance for others in the school. 

Due to lockdown,  students have not been able to talk in person but have had the opportunity to use technology to collaborate and create this performance. This lockdown has made it harder for us to create new performances, but by thinking of creative ideas and working together we have managed to create something we think is effective. The video that the class has been working on is a tribute to the teachers at Cecil Hills High School. The song chosen is called ‘Coffee Break’, from the musical ‘How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying’. We hope you enjoy this performance and remember that the world isn’t over if you have no coffee in your mug!
