Year 9 and Year 10 Visual Arts Excursion

On  Wednesday 18 May, Year 9 and Year 10 Visual Arts students participated in the Pathways Program that is run by the Art Gallery of NSW. It is a program that aims to provide learning experiences connecting the Gallery directly with schools in Greater Sydney.

This year, students had the opportunity to create a series of cardboard homes that will later be transformed into a larger installation and showcased in the new sector of the art gallery later this year. Students also attended a guided tour around the gallery and saw the permanent collection as well as the Archibald Prize.

It was an incredible day out and all students came back brimming with inspiration and creativity.

We can’t wait to go back to the Gallery later this year to see their cardboard homes on display.
