Welcome to our Library
Premier's Reading Challenge
The Premier’s Reading Challenge aims to encourage a love of reading for leisure and pleasure for all students and enables them to experience quality literature. It is not a competition, but a challenge to each student to read, read more, and to read more widely. It is open to all students from Kindergarten to Year 10.
The library at Cecil Hills High School is buzzing with excitement with students reading and borrowing books for the Premier’s Reading Challenge. Don’t forget to log the books you have read onto your Premier’s Reading Challenge account. Entries close on the 19th August.
Please come into the library to see our librarians, Mrs Green and Mrs Baldacchino for more information.
Lunch time in the Library
The Library at Cecil Hills High School is the place to be! There are so many different activities taking place in the library. The library has many different board games and chess sets which are available for students to use during Recess and Lunch. Often we see Year 7 student, Rafi Al-Banaa challenging Mr Qin to a game of chess.
“Mr Qin is a better chess player than me, but I am confident that I can improve by playing more! I like coming into the library, it’s better than staying outside where there is more noise. The library is a great place to relax between classes”. Rafi Al –Banaa.
Looking forward to welcoming you all in the library!
