What's making news this fortnight

Congratulations to all of our Easter Raffle prize winners - we hope you enjoyed your chocolate over the holidays!

Thanks also to all of our families who donated to the raffle and purchased tickets.

We were able to raise a huge $949.60 which has gone towards the maintenance of our trampoline mats and nets.

Earlier this week we had a visit from Kody Bothwell & Julia Thomas.

You may recognise Kody - the talented local artist who painted the VRS Moooving Art Cow.

Kody very kindly painted the cow onto a canvas for us to display in the school and keep as a memory. A big thank you to Kody and Julia!

Remember to go and visit the Moooving Art Cow which is currently on show at the Greater Shepparton Visitor Centre.

School Captain Noah Waters proudly represented the Verney Road School community at the ANZAC Day service last Tuesday.

Thank you Noah for laying a wreath on our behalf and being so respectful and responsible.

Big congratulations to Kobe Wilson who won a bronze medal at the state swimming championships! Great work Kobe!
