JUNIOR SPOTLIGHT

St Joseph's, 1922

This term, the Juniors are learning all things history. We kicked off our Inquiry unit by travelling back in time 100 years to experience school life in the year 1922. Here is what the students had to say...

"We did some baking. We made scones" Julia

"In the olden days, I liked knitting" Iliana

"When we did the olden day things Miss Kate and Miss Sophie were nuns and their names we Sister Katherine and Sister Sophia." Yasmin

"It was very funny. Nikita came in and had to wear the dunce hat for being rude." Arya

"We did fancy handwriting at the start of the day and at the end of the day, we did potato sack races and three-legged races." Josh

"We did knitting with straws." Chloe

"We wrote on chalkbpards instead of paper." Ethan
