PLANET ARK GREEN COMPETITION

The last few weeks our Junior School students have been discussing ways to green our school. They put these ideas into drawings to contribute to a green quilt. The drawings reflect more habitat spaces for wildlife, green spaces for students to engage with nature and more shrubs and flowers to encourage bees into our kitchen garden spaces.

 RECYCLING CENTRE 

Junior students continued their visit to the Recycling centre. Students explored the many items that people no longer need and have brought to the shop. With recycling items, they  understand that goods don't always have to be purchased brand new. Lots of items at the shop are in good condition and can be purchased for less or restored to a new owner.
