Message from Rhonda Fletcher

I would like to thank all of our school community for your hard work over the term in supporting both your child and our school staff during these difficult times. Our staff have worked tirelessly providing onsite learning, take home packs and contacting families during the term to keep our students engaged in their learning. I know they are looking forward to the holidays to recharge before a busy Term 4.
School Holidays are from Mon 20th September – Friday 1st October. During this time we would like you to have a rest from home learning and spend time with the family, hopefully enjoying the Spring sunshine! There is a grid of ideas that you can do with your children over the holiday period included in this newsletter.
At this stage we have no information as to whether school will be back for all students at the start of Term 4. I am waiting for the Premier’s announcements during the holidays and further information from the Department of Education and Training before I can let you know what is happening with our students and their schooling. I hope that all of our students can return to school as soon as it is been deemed safe for them to do so. Please check your emails during the second week of the holidays as at some point during this time we will be contacting you regarding the arrangements for Term 4.
When you come to school for any reason, we now have QR codes displayed at the front entrance and office for parents, carers and visitors to our school to check-in when they enter the school buildings. This is a requirement by the Department of Education and Victorian Government. If you are coming into the school building you must check-in when you enter.
Thanks,
Rhonda
