Bengio Bank
Dear School Banking Families
After careful consideration, the Bendigo Bank has decided to withdraw from offering school banking programs nationally which unfortunately means we will no longer be able to run the program at Corpus Christi Primary School.
While we may not be offering a formal school banking program anymore, your child can continue to bank with our local branch. There are no changes to your child’s Bendigo Bank account, and we would be delighted to welcome you and your child to the branch - when the time is right - to deposit their savings.
Of course, we will continue to focus our effort on supporting our local schools and the community in ways that help them prosper.
If you would like to discuss further, or have any questions, please feel free to contact me on 9687 2500.
I look forward to seeing you soon.
Your sincerely,
Ashley Coles and the team at Seddon Community Bank

This unusual year has had implications for so many students and their landmark years at school. For example, whether it is a Foundation or a Grade 6 student, their enjoyment of their landmark year at school has been very different. Some things haven’t been able to happen, but some other good things have appeared in their place. The same is happening at our school, some of the activities or events our Year 7 students we looking forward to haven’t been able to run in their traditional format, but, others have appeared in their place, it has been the same for the Year 12s in their very important final year. We have been amazed at our school at the way our students have adapted and been flexible and, most importantly, maintained an incredibly positive attitude towards school. The very hard work by students, their parents and the creative efforts by the teachers has been key in to this.
Sadly, though all of this we have been unable to run tours for families of our campuses. Instead, we have been sharing great insights into life at the College through our short videos each week. In place of our Open Day and Information Morning we are planning to conduct a Virtual Information Morning for both campuses on Saturday 12 September this year. The Notre Dame Campus event will start at 9 am and St Paul’s will commence at 10 am. Both sessions will run for an hour, during which you will hear from our College Principal, student leaders and parents. Then there will be a virtual tour and the opportunity to participate in a Q & A with student ambassadors and College leaders.
Simply click on the link to register and we will send you the Zoom link the day prior to the event.

As you know applications for year 7 2022 are due by 9 October, however our College is closed to the public and only open to permitted students and workers. Parents won’t be able to submit an application in person until restrictions ease.
To help families, I created a video to guide families through the online enrolment process. I hope it will help ease some of the anxieties parents might be having around enrolment during stage 4 restrictions.
Please kindly share this video to your parents who might be interested in applying.
Thank you for your support, I look forward to catching up with you on the other side of this.
As always please let me know if there’s anything I can help you with.
Regards,
Jacqui Duong Head of Admissions |
