TRANSITION DATES

The dates for transition are - Friday 15th & 22nd November

Year 5 & 6 Remembrance Day

On Monday, Remembrance Day Year 5 & 6 students attended the Remembrance Day Service  at ANZAC Memorial Park.  Our Captains laid a wreath and all students placed a red poppy at the memorial to remember the Australians who died as a result of war, particularly from World War I onwards.

Originally called Armistice Day, on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month we stopped for a minute’s silence to commemorate the end of the hostilities for the Great War (World War I) with the signing of the Armistice on November 11, 1918.

Year 1 & 2 Parents -

Year 1/2 will be looking at the text type of PROCEDURE soon in english. In Week 7, the class will be making a hand puppet.  We need some old socks for this project.  If you have any spare socks (you know the ones that turn up in the washing without its mate?) we would really appreciate the donation.

Kind Regards Mrs Flanagan
