KISS AND DROP ZONE

A ‘Kiss and Drop’ zone is provided on Collins Parade.

Safety for our students is very important to us. Due to cars remaining in the zone for up to 15 minutes, this has caused a number of ‘near misses’ with accidents.

We ask for your help and support in keeping our students safe by:

• Staying in your car. This area is not a parking area.
• Continue to move forward, along the drop-off zone, at all times, as space becomes available when vehicles exit the zone.
• Not remaining stationary for longer than 2 minutes at drop-off times (8:30 am to 8.45 am and 2.55-3.10 pm).
• Not queuing along Collins Parade (when travelling south) waiting to turn into the ‘kiss and drop zone’ as this causes a traffic hazard and prevents our staff from entering/exiting the Northern carpark.
• Allow students to exit and enter the vehicle curb-side only.
