PMP program at Naranga
Students in PLC 1 and PLC 2 participate in our PMP program every Friday morning. This program has been put together by our occupational therapist Sinead. Sinead and her OT students help to plan the activities, set up the equipment and show the students what to do in each activity.
Students practice balancing, crawling, throwing, catching, jumping, walking on a line, balancing on a beam and climbing. These actions are building their co-ordination, core strength, endurance and motor planning skills.
Students are also practicing waiting, taking turns, following instructions and encouraging their peers. These are skills our students practice every day to be a learner in the classroom and in the playground.
Well done to all students in PLC 1 and PLC 2 for all your hard work in the PMP program this year!
