Encyclopedia Britannica is an excellent resouce, it is available 24/7 online and provides fact checked resources including images, videos, articles, journals and primary sources. It is also curriculum aligned and able to differentiate to meet the needs of all levels of learning. Additionally, it provides access to a dictionary and authenticated websites, as well, as the ability to translate articles to other languages and convert articles to audio.

Newsbank is a comprehensive collection of full-text newspapers from around the world.
