Principal's Report

Dear Parents, Families and Community members,

COVID-19 Update

This week has certainly been an 'interesting' week throughout the world and my thoughts and well wishes are with everyone during this time, particularly those more directly effected at this time.

We continue to update our school community via Compass regarding relevant information and developments as they transpire , with clear and timely communication a priority.

Please refer to your Compass News Feed for the most accurate information as this will be updated as regularly as required.

Hard copies of Learning Menus that were mentioned in the letter I sent to families yesterday were sent home this afternoon so please look out for these. Once again, I remind families this is one part of our preparation for 'Continuation of Learning'; however, it remains that school is very much open and we will be continuing to focus on learning here at school.

This afternoon our School Captains conducted an interview with me, posing a number of 'hard hitting' and pertinent questions relating to COVID-19. This will be posted on our Facebook page over the weekend (once I've edited out as many of my bloopers that I can...). Thanks to Mikayla and Solomon for conducting this.

Hot Cross Bun Drive

A big thank you to our wonderful school community for your support of our first fundraiser for the year.  We sold 262 packs of buns and raised over $600 which will go towards valuable Maths Resources.

Thank you to our PACC team for organising the Hot Cross Bun Drive and for sorting and distributing these today, we appreciate all your time and support.

We hope everyone enjoys their buns!

School Beanies

ORDER YOUR SCHOOL BEANIE!!

Further to our News Feed sent to all families on 17/03/2020, school beanies are now available to order!

Thank you to all families who showed interest in our school beanies.  There was such a high response that you now are able to start purchasing!

The beanies will take some time to arrive but we will keep families that do purchase informed of their order status.

End of Term Assembly

Just a reminder that due to the current advice regarding COVID-19, next week's end of term assembly will need to look different to normal and we are unable to invite families to attend assembly (on the last day of term, Friday 27 March).

Also, please remember that next friday is an earlier finish at 2.10 p.m. so please make required arrangements on this day.

Lunch Orders

A reminder that there are no lunch orders on the last day of term due to the earlier finish time of 2.10pm.

Have a great weekend!
