SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL

The School Advisory Council held their meeting for Term 2 on Monday 5th June. The role of the Catholic School Advisory Council is to advise Parish Priests and Principals with pastoral leadership and leadership responsibility in Catholic systemic schools.   

School Advisory Council members:

· value and respect the Catholic identity of the school, its relationship to the parish community and the expression of its ethos through rituals, traditions, symbols and the teaching of Catholic beliefs

· act as role models within the school community by reflecting the values and ethos of the school

· work collaboratively with the Parish Priest, the Principal and the wider school community

· build and nurture a sense of community

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVELINE

This week, Eveline, a resident at Robert Young Aged Care will be celebrating her 100th Birthday.    Our students were invited to create birthday cards as well as art work to help celebrate and congratulate Eveline on this magnificent milestone.
