Gardens and Grounds

Thank you to everyone who volunteered at the Working Bee, Sun 18 April. 40 people, including lots of students made the gardens look amazing and the school gleaming. We raised $813 from the gofundme fundraising – thank you! This will cover the mulch for the working bee and plants for the gardens. Thank you to everyone who supported this initiative.

Working Bee date to be confirmed for Term 3 at Holloway Rd. More details coming soon.

Gardening Club runs every Wed fortnight, 9am-11.30am. We are always in need of volunteers. If you can help out, the next meeting is Wed 2 June at the Bluff Rd Campus. Please text Eddie on 0424 138 277 if you can make it.

New Aprons for Food Tech arrived in time for Open Night

The PTF funded 50 new aprons for Food Tech and they arrived just in time to be used for Open night.

Dance Showcase 4-6 June Rose Order and Volunteer support

We need a small team of volunteers at each of the two performances to show the audience to their seats and to help sell the roses prior to the performance. We also need 2 students at each performance to run our roses back stage.

Seven Seasons Indigenous Garden official opening

Funded by a $5K grant from Bayside Council, we're excited to announce that the official opening will be on Thurs 17 June 2021. It will be opened with a smoking ceremony and our Bayside Council Mayor. Students have been helping with the Survey (citizen science) to record if the new garden is encouraging wild life. Thank you to Edwina Jenkins for making this project a reality.

Recycling Program new additions - Pens and Batteries

We voted to purchase Pen and Marker collection boxes from TerraCycle. These will be located in the libraries and we'll create smaller collection boxes in the staff rooms and other locations.

We also voted to purchase Battery recycling tubes which will be located at reception at both campuses. Look out for more info once they are in place and ready to use.

Second Hand Uniform Shop - we need your old uniform!

We need your unwanted uniform! Donation bins are located in reception at both campuses. All money raised goes back to the school via the many PTF projects.

The second hand uniform shop is open every Thursday 8.15am-9.15am and is located at the Bluff Rd campus. Please log into compass at reception before coming to shop.
