Congratulations to the Sandy Junior Lawn bowls team Year 8 students Daniel Gherini, Bethany Perry-Crockart, Archie Turner & Matt Wall who recently competed at the School Sports Victoria Championships. The team went from strength to strength throughout the day and unfortunately they just missed out on the final round.

Swimming. Congratulations to our super fish Sienna Barkei who competed at the School Sports Victoria State Championships at the end of Term-2. Sienna came 4th in both the 14yrs 50m Butterfly and 14yrs 50m Backstroke.  A great achievement, well done!

The Year 8 Girls Soccer team, coached by Mr Wilkinson and the science pre-service teachers, are currently in the hunt for the Kingston Division Pennant this term with 2-wins and 1-loss to date. No pressure!

Division Cross Country

The Sandringham Cross Country Team who competed at the Division Cross Country event yesterday are to be congratulations on the great display of our School Wide Positive Behaviours.

On arrival at the event Patrick Wells, Aryan Palai, Zara Politz, Paige Henderson, Mikalia Miles and Jakk Harrision volunteered to assist the Division Coordinator finish setting up the course which was greatly appreciated.

A special mention goes to Jakk Harrision, Aryan Palai, and Patrick Wells as exemplar members of the community showing respect for others by stopping during the 14-years 3km event stop, checking on and assisting a member of the community who was in need to first aid, then waiting with the individual until support arrived.
