Library

"At the moment that we persuade a child, any child to cross that threshold, that magic threshold into a library, we change their lives forever, for the better.  It's an enormous force for good."   Barack Obama

Makerspace

The Makerspace area in the library is a collaborative space where students gather to get creative with DIY projects, invent new ones and share ideas. At Sandringham College the makerspace areas at both Bluff Road and Holloway Road Libraries are a hub of creativity.  Students across all year levels socialise as they create.

Library staff at both campuses coordinate and plan activities, providing students with the resources and support needed to encourage their creative flair.

So far this term students have made felt poppies for Anzac Day, culminating in the creation of a wreath during the college open night, painted jars with tealights and worked with air drying clay to produce some amazing creations.
