How you can help?

SURFSIDE FRESH FOOD FAIR

Top ways you and your family can help

  • Bake a cake, slice or biscuits for F1’s class cake stall the day leading up to the fair.
  • Donate little items for J9’s lucky jar game and M24’s lucky dips & chocolate for the spinning wheel.
  • Donate treasures (no electrical or clothes please) for M23’s White Elephant stall, and deliver to the hall during school hours on Wednesday 26th - Friday, 28th October.
  • Hamper item donations for our raffle, silent auction and lucky envelopes.
  • Bring in recycled items for the kitchen, the preserves and seedling class stall; ice cream containers with lids, pots, seeds, lemons, newspapers, junk mail, magazines, unwanted picture books or unwanted stickers.
  • Volunteer your time on the day via the volunteer roster, link on Compass.
  • Assist with the food preparation in our kitchen, see below dates.
  • Help out with some gardening in our garden.
  • Help out at our school working bee THIS SUNDAY, October 23rd, 9am onwards.

FFF Food Preparation and Garden sessions

We also appreciate the support of our kitchen and garden volunteers, old and new. We have a lot to do, from preserving to cooking fried rice, curries and brownies!

Please come for an hour, or a day, any help is very much appreciated.

  • Sunday 23rd October, 9am, working bee morning
  • Wednesday 26th October, 11.30am-3pm
  • Thursday 27th October, 9-3pm
  • Friday 28th October, Fresh Food Fair Day!
