A MESSAGE FROM OUR ACTING PRINCIPAL

WELCOME BACK TO TERM 4

I would like to thank the school community for all of the support that they have given the school over the COVID lockdown. Staff have been working extremely hard in this time. Staff and students are very happy to be back at school and it’s great to see the school so busy.

SCHOOL HYGIENE

We are prioritizing student wellbeing in their return to term 4. The school is following all advice from DHHS including implementing hygiene protocols and have also employed extra cleaners over this time to clean high touch areas, including play equipment and door handles.

SUE'S  RETIREMENT

Sue enjoyed her last day of school at the end of term 3. She has told me she is really enjoying retirement and is sleeping in every morning. All staff were in contact with Sue on the last day of Term 3 by WebEx to say goodbye. Sue was very overwhelmed with parents, students and staff best wishes. She will be greatly missed by everyone.

 YEAR BOOK

Dandenong Valley will be putting out a 2020 year book. This will be very different to other years. The year book committee are working very hard to have it completed as soon as possible.

SCHOOL CONCERT

Unfortunately due to COVID restrictions we will be unable to have a school concert in 2020. We are all very disappointed about this, though hopefully in 2021 we can run one.

PARENT SURVEY

We have sent out the Department of Education parent survey by email to all parents this year. It would be greatly appreciated if you could take some time to complete this survey.

STUDENT ILLNESS

Thank you for remembering to keep sick children at home. It does help to stop the spread of illness to other students and staff. If your child is away, please remember to let the office know. Thank you.
