A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL

Hello Everyone,

We had a wonderful assembly last week when a very special guest, Cecilia, our school council president came and presented the 2020 school leaders with their badges.

SCHOOL LEADERS

Our new school leaders are Imogine and Shane for the junior school, Agnes and Christian R for the middle school, Sarah and Curtis for the senior school.

SCHOOL CAPTAINS

Cecilia also presented the 2020 school captains with their badges. These school captains are exemplary students in their last year at Dandy Valley. For 2020 our school captains are; Ellise and Miguel.

Congratulations to all of our newly appointed leaders and thank you very much to the parents and carers who were able to come to assembly, the students were thrilled to have you there.

STUDENT HOUSE LEADERS

In related news we have decided this year to have student house leaders. In the past each house has had a staff member as a leader but the students themselves have suggested that there should be student house leaders too. In an effort to honour student voice Kim has conducted an election so that the students themselves could vote for their own house leader.

Our inaugural student house leaders are:

      Ikram for green house

       Fletch for blue house

       Amelia for yellow house

       Charlie for red house.

These students will assist in running the house days each term and will help the staff house leaders drum up a little excitement at assembly.
