School News


General Info

  • Gym Games are held in the school gymnasium every Tuesday from 1pm
  • Blue Edge runs each Friday, Period 4 through to the end of lunch (selected students)
  • Run Club is held every Wednesday at 1pm, meet at the bus shelter
  • Reminder for families that the school hours of supervision are between 8:40am - 9:00am of a morning and between 3:20pm - 3:40pm (or until the last bus departs) of an afternoon.

School Works

Currently under construction is the new amphitheatre, being built along the south side of the BSC gymnasium. The school was fortunate to secure a grant to install more shade sails and opted to redesign the space and create a multi purpose area. Once complete, the shaded amphitheatre will be utilised as an outdoor classroom and, during the warmer months, as another facility for hosting school assemblies.

 

In other school upgrades, the Student Centre has also recently received new carpet. We ask that all students be respectful and take care when using the facility. It is an expectation that students clean up after themselves by wiping down tables and vacuuming the floor regularly. Our students are fortunate to have such a fantastic space available for their use, especially during the cooler months so it's important that it's looked after.

 

  

CSEF Closing Soon

CSEF- Camps, Sports and Excursions Funds

Applications close on the 24th June 2022.

 

The CSEF is an annual payment to the school to be used towards camps, sports and/or excursion expenses for the benefit of the eligible student.

To be eligible: a parent or legal guardian of a student attending a Secondary school must:

  1. Hold a Veterans Affairs Gold Card OR
  2. Hold an eligible Centrelink Health Care Card (HCC) OR Pensioner Concession Card (PCC) OR
  3. Be a temporary Foster parent AND
  4. Submit an application to the school by the due date

Payment Amounts:

Secondary School students      $225 per year

The CSEF is paid directly to your child’s school and will be allocated by the school towards camps, sports and/or excursion costs for you child.

The school will require a copy of your current Health Care Card,
