Assistant Principal's Report

Dear students and families,

Now that we have settled into term 3 we continue our focus on student out comes and last week there were a number of focus points in the broader Naranga experience in addition to our regular school programs.  On Thursday three of our students with staff attended  a Koorie Leadership Day at Monash University in Clayton.  From all accounts a very valuable experience learning about pathways .  Also on Thursday was a Rancare excursion to a facility in Hastings which focuses on post year 12 experience in work related skills for pre employment readiness.  Six students attended with a view to broadening choice post Naranga School.  On Friday we had representatives from all areas of the school involved in an athletics carnival.  Success would be an understatement.  The students returned energised and enthusiastic.  There were lots of finisher ribbons.  With less than two weeks to go,  our two aerobics teams are in their final preparation for the national competition in Adelaide.  Everything is organised and our school community is very excited to see our students do their best and enjoy the wonderful experience.
