The children in the sunflower room have been engaging in a variety of activities ranging from the popular cooking experiences, outdoor gross motor play and creative art.
We kick started the season of autumn by discussing about the colours of autumn, singing 'Autumn leaves are falling down' and engaging in art work based on the theme. As a result of these discussions, the children have been collecting dry leaves from the yard and talking about the seasonal changes.
Currently the children are exhibiting a huge interest in counting and we will be scaffolding on their interests. We are also preparing for the cultural diversity week.
