Twenty Piece Challenge

These holidays will be a great opportunity to play as much music as possible and dive into the "20 Piece Challenge".

The googleform to download and fill up as you learn and master your selected music is here.   The challenge ends on 28 June 2023.  Most piano print music now comes with a digital recording via an online app library which makes it convenient to listen to recordings during the learning process.  Youtube and Spotify are great resources too.

A repertoire rich approach enables you to explore music from a wide range of styles and genres.  A balance of deep learning/polishing and exploring music creatively via ancillary activities like transposing and improvising are positive outcomes of this repertoire rich approach.   It will improve sight reading skills too.

The 'Practice Buddy' (access here) is wonderful in getting your child to continue to practise  during the  holidays once you have registered your child's  Forte Course Book.
