Last Weekend Activities

Friday evening students travelled to Eaton for some shopping.

On Saturday morning, everyone headed to Mandurah for lunch, shopping and a tour to discover the “Giants Of Mandurah”. Students visited one "Giant" but were not as excited as expected and so it was decided they would rather do some Op shopping on the way back to the College instead of searching for more.

Saturday evening there were plans to go to see the “Barbie “ movie however it was sold out. So instead, students and staff fired up the fire pit, toasted marshmallows and enjoyed some tunes played by Mr Hodgson.  It was a fun evening.

Sunday morning some eight students went to Bunbury to see the "Barbie" movie, and reports back from them would suggest that the movie didn’t live up to all the hype.

What happened during the week

Monday evening was the pointy end of the “Pool” competition with the last few matches played. The results saw two great mates Noah Horrobin and Cameron Bean played off against each other.

In the final game, it was a tense atmosphere with a good crowd of students watching on. Cameron came out as the winner in a very close game.

Congratulations to all involved.  Well done to Mr White who set up the competition, but with illness and Country Week, we were unable to complete the competition before he finished up at the end of last term. Thanks to Mr Jones who took over the competition.

Tuesday evening was not the best performance from our girls' netball team who were unfortunately outplayed all over the court.  Best of luck next week girls.

Activities Planned for this Weekend

This weekend we are off to the Motor Car Museum in Bunbury, something that hasn’t happened for a few years, so I hope the students enjoy themselves.

College Meals

Thank you once again to our amazing Kitchen staff who continue to serve amazing meals on a daily basis.

Also to the Cleaning crew who always go above and beyond in keeping the entire College incredibly clean and tidy. They are a brilliant asset to our College. Thanks very much.

Keep Healthy

Just a reminder to students to continue to practice good hygiene practices around, washing hands regularly, and covering coughs and sneezes, so as we can minimise the lost time at school.
