Colour Fun Run

The JSC has organised a Colour Fun Run, this spectacular event will be held on Friday 9th December. Put the date in your diary.

At this stage, we are working in conjunction with the Moonee Valley Council to organise a safe space to hold the event. Stay tuned for more information.

This will be fundraising event with a lot of fun along the way. The JSC has decided to make this event a sustainable one, so they chose a company that have given us an opportunity to decide where some of the money raised could be spent. Sixty percent of the money raised goes directly to the school and the other forty percent is used to cover the cost of the day and to support our environment.

Every student that participates will get a pair of sunglasses (to help protect their eyes) and a headband to help them look ‘just a little bit more’ fabulous on the day.

Your family can decide to support the environment by choosing to plant trees in a biodiversity hotspot, or plant a coral on the Great Barrier Reef.

All the materials used in the COLOUR RUN  are gluten free, biodegradable and non-toxic (colour powder made from corn starch and food grade colour).

Those families that are able to raise over $100  will go into a draw with the grand prize being “You get to SLIME THE PRINCIPAL! (Yes! Jarrod is a willing participant in this event.)

What do you need to do?

  • Put the date in your diary
  • Consider volunteering your time
  • Clean out your cupboards and draws to find just the right outfit for the day (the lighter the garment colour the better)! Please do not buy new clothes for this event.
  • Stay tuned for the announcement of the venue
  • Stay on the look out for the information about how to register online for this FUN FILLED Day. It will be available VERY SOON.

Start thinking about who might be in a situation to sponsor your child. We understand that times are tough at the moment, for some families more than others. If you are not in a situation to fund raise at this time please speak to the Office Staff. We want everyone to be involved, have fun and raise a lot of money for our school as well as help our environment.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask a JSC representative, Miranda, Vicki, Sandra or Jarrod for information about this exciting event.
