Curriculum Day

As you are aware, Thursday April 26th was the second Curriculum Day for Moonee Ponds West Primary School.

The focus of the day was for teachers to begin the preparation work for the school’s Strategic Plan Review, which will occur later in the year. This involved teachers working collaboratively to look at the school’s data and collect information to inform the next part of the work of the Strategic Plan process.

I would like to thank the staff for their diligence and commitment to the success of the day.

3/4 Camp

Preparations are well underway for the 3/4 Camp. Just a reminder to submit all relevant forms by the due dates to help with finalisation. Any further information regarding Camp will be sent out in the following week to assist families in preparing for this fun and exciting time.

Parent/Carer Tours for children commencing school in 2019

The school has conducted a number of Parent Tours to date and these have been well attended.

Just a reminder to families and friends to please contact the school office or visit the school website for further information or to book a tour. Sibling enrolment documents are now available from the office.

Naplan Assessment

NAPLAN testing will take place from Tuesday 15 May to Thursday 17 May 2018 for students in years 3 and 5.

Year 6-7 Transition

Just a reminder to all parents and carers to return the application for Year 7 placement forms by the 11th May.
