Project Kindness

On behalf of the Allied Health Team, during term three I started “project kindness” as a way to make a connection with the community. Due to the lockdown and stage 4 restrictions many aged care residents are currently having little to no visitors and must be feeling very isolated.

I put the call out encouraging students and staff to write letters to the aged care residents at Arcare in Craigieburn. The project has been a fantastic way to connect our younger and older generations.

The project was optional and the response has been fabulous. I have received many beautiful letters to pass on to Arcare Craigieburn. The letters show how compassionate, empathetic, kind and generous our students and staff are here at Craigieburn Secondary College.

Well done to everyone who took the time to participate, I’m sure the residents loved reading all your letters.
