Class of 2021

Enter here all ye who are Curious

All who believe that what is seemingly impossible today, is but tomorrow’s puzzle to solve. Beware those who break these lines who themselves are closed to wonder, resistant to options, blind to possibility.

So before you enter these rooms, carrying both technology and text, ask yourself: 

Were you born curious?

These were the words that I had printed on a wall sized banner to welcome students to the science department when I first started work in a small girl’s school in South Korea in 2013.  The idea of curiosity being a life skill was also at the heart of my Graduation speech for 2021.

As the students of Holloway road start to engage in the next year of their academic journey; curiosity, commitment, and a really good plan of attack are at the heart of their best next steps.

My congratulations to all the students and indeed the families that graduated from Sandringham College on Sunday November 28th.  It was an emotional night for some as it heralded the end of a beginning and the beginning of yet another journey.
