Congratulations Year 12's

Year 12 Class of 2019

Congratulations to our Year 12 students, who have finished exams and are set to celebrate their achievements at the Year 12 Graduation on Thursday 19th December.

Our Year 12 students were inspired by the class of 2018, a cohort of students who clearly embraced the challenge of Year 12 with determination, focus and diligence in their studies. We are extremely proud of the way in which our class of 2019 has continued this tradition.

Our Year 12 cohort faced the realities of rigorous VCE and VCAL programs, rising to the challenge to improve their performance throughout the year. This was assisted by their coordinator Mr Ellul providing support and running skills workshops to improve their organisation and study routines.

Year 12 students started their VCE program with enthusiasm, quickly adapting to the level of work required at a Senior level. Many students formed study groups with friends, attending the Craigieburn High Achievers Club every Thursday.

To maintain momentum, our Year 12 students also participated in sessions provided by Elevate Education, focusing on memorisation techniques and examination preparation. This included motivational talks by athletes Luke Atkins and Glenn Manton, and study skills sessions provided by Elevate Education.

The Year 12 Formal was a key event for Senior School students, celebrating their achievements at the end of semester one. The students dressed up in formal attire and enjoyed a night at Docklands showing off their dance moves.  Congratulations to Mr Ellul and the Year 12 Captains for their work with the students and presentation on the night.

It is has been a wonderful experience working alongside a dedicated team of staff within the Senior School. The work of Mr Anthony Ellul (Year 12 Coordinator & Program Manager), Ms Sarah Gaetano (Year 11 Coordinator), Ms Genevieve Bongrain (Careers and Pathways Leader), Mr Ben Weissenfeld (Learning Partner) and Ms Julie Sirriani (Senior School Executive Officer) has led to a number of great outcomes within the Sub School and we look forward to continued success with our students in 2020.
