MPW Pizza Day Fun

On Friday 21st of June the fundraising team, with the generous support of our Local Bakers Delight, ran a Pizza Day! We would like to thank all of the families that were able to support this event as it was a huge success with 364 pizzas ordered! Wow! It took a solid hour of packing and sorting by a wonderful team of helpers and the fundraising team to make sure the kids had their pizzas in time for lunch and boy were they excited! We would like to thank our helpers Kate, Julia, Kristy, John and Julie for volunteering their time to help make this day such a big success. Also a huge thank you to the team at Bakers Delight (Union Rd & Showgrounds) for offering our school the opportunity to run this event. It was the biggest order they                                                                                              have had for a Pizza Day fundraiser so thank you Moonee                                                                                                  Ponds West community!

What’s Coming Up?

Bunnings BBQ – Saturday 17th August

Moonee Ponds West will be hosting the Bunnings Maribyrnong BBQ on Saturday 17th August. This is always a great day with high demand for a Bunnings Sausage and a great fundraiser for our school. We will be recruiting volunteers early Term 3, if you’re able to help please mark it your diary now.

Save the Date – Friday 11th October

We will be holding the Moonee Ponds West Parent and Carers Fundraising evening on Friday 11th October 2019! Mark it in your diaries now so you don’t miss out. More details and tickets will be available early Term 3.

We also need your help! We will be running Live and Silent auctions along with Raffle Hampers to support the event.  We are looking for items for the Auctions from substantial through to smaller along with items that may contribute towards our Hampers. Do you have connections where you  might be able to source items as a donation or perhaps a substantial discount? Some examples of donations might be a Weekend away in a Holiday House, a Hotel stay, Dinner for 2, Homewares, Sporting Goods, Non-perishable food items, Service or Goods Vouchers, Electronics, Memberships, to name a few! If you can help we would love to hear from you – please get in touch via the School Office!  The fundraising team will also be seeking the support of local businesses but it would be great to hear what our School Community has to offer!
