Alan Wright Young Writers Workshop

These photos below were taken from Alan Wright's Young Writer's Workshop. This day was a collaboration between PETAA (Primary English Teaching Association Australia)  and The State Government to ensure students are inspired to become the best writers they can be.

We have a poem, some photos of Alan's presentation, students reading to the walls and doors, and a page from a notebook inspired by Alan's notebooks.

At assembly yesterday,  Malik shared a poem that he wrote after being inspired by the session. When speaking with Malik about his writing, he wanted to ensure that his writing had a purpose and chose to write about something he was passionate about, which was around climate change. As a result, he was able to produce a strong piece of writing that had the purpose of communicating a message to his audience. Well done, Malik. Please have a read of Malik’s poem about climate change.
