Pattern making

Last week in maths we were learning about patterns! To explore patterns we used lots of different materials such as pom poms, beads, counters and blocks. We made patterns that had two reoccurring colours or shapes and then 3 and sometimes even 4! We also used art and paint to make different patterns. We used materials such as ruler and a balloon to make the different patterns.

Information Reports

This term Foundations have been learning about non-fiction facts and how we can find facts that describe different animals. Last week the students all chose an animal to research and used books to find their facts. Once they found these facts they used them to create a little animal report booklet. They did an awesome job!
