Friday 10th June: Mass at 11.30am

Friday 24th June: Mass-Feast of the Sacred Heart at 11.30am

Mass Friday 10th June

The whole school community will be celebrating Mass next Friday 10th June at 11.30am. The five students who will receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion for the first time on Sunday 19th June will be having the Sacrament of Reconciliation after Mass as part of their preparations. You are definitely welcome to come and join us.

Reflection

This upcoming Sunday is an important day in the Church for a number of reasons. It is the Feast of Pentecost. Pentecost marks the final day of the Easter Season and in a way, this day can be viewed as the Church's birthday. As it is the fiftieth day of Easter, on this day we rejoice that Jesus keeps his promises. He promised that he would send the Holy Spirit to unify and strengthen his followers, and he did just that. The reading from the Acts of the Apostles (Acts 2:1-4, 6-7, 11) tells us how.

Prayer 

That the Spirit of knowledge

may open the scriptures to us,

let us pray to the Lord: Come, Holy Spirit.

That the Spirit of courage

will give strength to those who are suffering,

let us pray to the Lord: Come, Holy Spirit.

That the Spirit of awe

may bring people to joy and delight,

let us pray to the Lord: Come, Holy Spirit.

Sacrament Dates for 2022

2022 First Holy Communion Date has been set for our Catholic students in Year 3 for Sunday 19th June 2022.

First Holy Communion

We have five students who will be receiving the sacrament of Holy Communion for the first time on Sunday 19th June at St Patrick's Church. The preparation program commence on Tuesday. Our thoughts and prayers are with these students as they develop their understanding and appreciation of  how we remember the teachings and sacrifice of Jesus Christ through this sacrament.

YEAR 6 RE TEST

This term our Year 6 students will be participating in the annual Diocesan Religion Education Test on Friday, 24th June 2022.
