Your Career – What’s next for you?
The Australian Government recently established the National Careers Institute (NCI) to ensure that everyone no matter where they are in their studies, careers or life can have access to accurate careers information. As a part of NCI, Your Career has further information on education, training, and work options. Your Career has created specific content and a booklet designed for School Leavers with further information, resources, and links available for them through 2021 and beyond.
For any students who have been concerned about the stability of different careers that they are interested in, especially after COVID, the National Skills Commission has recently released the ‘Australian Jobs 2020’ that includes information of jobs and industries that have the largest employment rates, as well as by state. The information has been designed to be easily read by students.

RSA Course
An offer was recently sent out to all Year 11 and Year 12 students who were interested in completing their RSA Certificate (Responsible Service of Alcohol) at school. The RSA Certificate is a mandatory certification for anyone who is working in a position where they are either serving or selling alcohol.
By offering this opportunity to our students we hope that it will help to improve their employment and career opportunities, whether it be to find some casual work within hospitality or retail stores that stock and sell alcohol, or to pursue a full time career within the industry. The students who participated in the class this week were all engaged and completed their course to successfully earn their certificate.
