It’s a busy time of year for the Careers Centre and especially so this year. As we’ve not been able to hold the VCE information night and VCE Expo we’ve recorded our presentations so families will be able to watch them from home. Year 10 families will receive an email with links to the presentations and all of the information they need to help with the important task of choosing subjects for VCE.

Our Year 12 students will be able to commence working on their university preferences in less than two weeks.

Students can create an account with VTAC from Monday 3 August where they can begin to list their preferences. Thankfully they don’t need to have it all worked out yet as preferences can continue to be tweaked up until the end of the year. Year 12 results will be released on 30 December with preferences required to be finalised by midday on Monday 4 January. First round offers for university places will be made on Thursday 14 January.

VTAC have some great resources for students in years 10, 11 and 12 – visit VTAC (https://www.vtac.edu.au/) and look for the “A guide for…” heading about half way down their home page.
