Meet Our Staff

Kim Mavrogiannnis, Michelle Agar, Emily Edgley & Chloe Connelly

Hello! I’m Kim Mavrogiannis (Mrs Mav). I have been working at Bundoora Primary going on 2 years now as an Education Support Officer!

During my time here I have worked within the Prep, 1 to 2 Classrooms. I have loved supporting and getting to know all the different students and their families.

I have spent time in different careers throughout my adult life, as an Adult Educator, Disability Support, and a successful Business owner.

I have a huge Maltese family and I’m one of 23 grandchildren. I spend most of my summer break on the Murry River with my extended family and enjoy the summer BBQ’s and boating.

Outside of work, I really love spending time with my husband and 2 daughters, taking our 2 dogs for a walk, hiking, riding bikes and watching Collingwood play. (Hopefully 2023 will be a better one for our club)

My philosophy to life is when life gives you 100 reasons to cry show life you have 1000 reasons to smile.  If you see me out in the yard and I haven't had the pleasure to meet you personally already, please don't hesitate to stop me and say hi.

Hello! My name is Michelle Agar. 12 years ago, my partner and I drove across the Nullarbor from Perth to Melbourne in search of new adventures.

I started doing a week of CRT work at Bundoora and haven’t left! During my time at BPS, I have had the privilege of taking on many roles. I have taught Stem, grades 3/4, EAL, literacy tutoring and am now job-sharing a grade 5/6 class. I have also been lucky enough to have 3 children of my own named Levi, Phoenix and Willow.

Let’s be honest, when I’m not at school, my kids take up most of my time. However, aside from my kids I love to exercise, go bushwalking, catch up with friends, travel anywhere I can and read. I am also passionate about mental health and the environment.

I am very grateful to be able to work with an exceptional group of teachers and support staff at Bundoora and an outstanding class of grade 5/6 students this year who constantly inspire me.

Michelle Agar

5/6 Classroom Teacher / Literacy Committee Leader

Hi!

I’m Chloe Connelly and I stared at Bundoora Primary this year in the intervention team. This involves working with small groups of students on their literacy skills. My favourite part of this job is seeing hard work and resilience pay off.

Before my time at Bundoora, I wore many different hats. I’ve been a tour guide in LA, a swimming instructor and a bike mechanic.

Outside of my life at Bundoora, I am really passionate about history, hiking and scoring above 10 points on the daily newspaper quiz. I also love to cook, but I’m no Remy.
