2021 Oceanic Palliative Care Conference

Palliative Care Australia (PCA) will hold their 16th Oceanic Palliative Care Conference online from 7 – 10 September 2021. The Conference, held biennially, is the pre-eminent event for all those passionate about palliative and end-of-life care and APLI is proud to be an official partner of this conference.

The Conference presents a unique opportunity to convene leaders, health professionals, and experts in an accessible virtual format – to advance discussion and knowledge about palliative care in Australia and surrounding Oceanic Regions.

Online early bird registrations and call for abstracts for the 2021 Oceanic Palliative Care Conference (21OPCC) are now open. PCA is looking for abstracts from anyone with interest in palliative care. The program will be developed from abstract submissions within our core theme areas, all linking back to the conference's overall theme: ‘Invest Challenge Change’.

The theme builds on a global push to ensure that we build better, more resilient health systems better able to meet critical healthcare needs in normal circumstances, and sufficiently resourced to meet needs during emergency and crisis times. Not limited by location or capacity, 21OPCC will provide a unique and innovative virtual platform for engaging an even broader Australian and international audience and presenting new research and case studies about quality palliative and end-of-life care.

21OPCC will ensure you to stay on top of your game, with knowledge, trends and insights shared by speakers all around the world – right to your workplace or home. The conference will also create longer value, allowing attendees an opportunity to continue to learn post-event.
