Principal's Post

Dear Families,

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL OF OUR WONDERFUL MUMS

I hope you were all spoilt yesterday!

It was lovely to see so many mums and special friends at our morning tea this morning.

We wanted to provide an opportunity for you to socialise with one another and not have to make your own cuppa or make cuppas for others. Last year's afternoon tea with the children was a special occasion and we thought we'd provide a different time and experience this year.

It was lovely and very rewarding moving around the classrooms last week and observing the intense dedication so many students put into making cards and gifts for their mums.

Thanks to our office staff, Michelle Wells, Lisa Morris and Anita Dell'Orso who did most of the organising and purchasing of goods.

Thank you to the various P & F members who organised the Mothers Day Stall and raffle last Friday too. There are a couple of IOUs that need to be settled please.

First Eucharist

Congratulations to all of our students (mainly Yr 4s) who received the Sacrament of First Eucharist over the past two Saturdays. Fr Dispin made sure that the experience was reverent, welcoming and memorable for all families. Thank you to the many staff who came along on their weekend to celebrate this special occasion with the students.

Click on the Spotlight on Learning Page for some photos and comments from the students.

Walk Safely to School Day - Friday 19 May

Our SRC have advertised to the students the benefits of walking to school. We are encouraging all students to walk at least part of the way on Friday.

Parents who drive their children to school are encouraged to drop them off a few hundred metres from the gate and allow students to walk the final part of the journey.

Every student who walks to school on that day will get a surprise when they arrive at school. See our Student wellbeing Page for further details.
