Getting to know Amelia

Name - Amelia Doyle

Role at JPII - Student teacher on my final placement.

Favourite way to spend a day off/weekend - Spending time with my family and taking a moment to read a book.

How long have you been at JPII - Since the start of Term 4 and briefly during Term 3. All together I will have been here for 5 weeks.

First impression of JPII as a school - There is a wonderful and welcoming school community upheld by students and staff. The positive attitude to inclusive teaching and learning is always great to see.

Do you have a favourite subject/topic you look forward to teaching - English was always my favourite subject as a student and I think it will continue to be my favourite as a teacher.

What is your unique experience/skill that you bring to teaching - I have been told that I have a very calm mannerism which rubs off on the students in a positive way. 

Any last word before the school bell goes - A big thank you to JPII, especially 5/6 Huon, for having me!
