Throughout the term students in Years 7 and 8 have been studying specialist subjects at Goldsworthy and the Geelong Industry Trade Training Centre (GITTC)

Here are a few photographs of students fro all campuses engaged in their work.

Our year 9 Science classes finished their unit on nuclear physics, deciding “Is it worth the risk?” to have nuclear power in Australia. 

As part of their final revision, Kath our lab manager has run a demo of the chain reaction of nuclear fission, using mousetraps and poker chips. An EXPLOSIVE reaction!

Throughout the year students in years 7 and 8 have been attending the Geelong Industry Trade Training Centre (GITTC) to undertake their elective subjects in Food Technology, Visual Communication, Wood Technology, Media, Digital Technologies, Robotics and Materials and Textiles
