From the Principal

Welcome Back to Term 4

I hope you had a great break from the school routine.

Term 4 is always busy with many exciting end of year activities to look forward to. Please look out for our Term 4 dates on the What's On Page in the newsletter.

MY PILGRIMAGE TO IRELAND - Come & See Jn 1:39

During the holidays I was very privileged  to attend the CSO Pilgrmage to Ireland to walk in the footsteps of the founders of the religious orders in the Armidale Diocese.

The pilgrimage offered me the opportunity to come to know the history of St Patrick & Sister Catherine McAuley the founder of the Sisters of Mercy, both important influences on our Church and School in Walcha.

To follow the path of our founders, to see firsthand the places where they lived and worked was an amazing opportunity for my personal renewal. My personal growth and knowledge that has taken place through the many encounters with witness while on the pilgrimage, has renewed my desire to continue the mission of our founders .

Cheese & Wine Evening- POSTPONED

Due to clash of events for many families we have postponed the Wine & Cheese Evening on Friday 25th October & a new date is to be advised.

The P & F along with the School Advisory Council wanted to host a non fundraising event -  A Wine & Cheese Night,  for St Patrick's families to gather together to support each other in the difficult times of the drought.

Wine, beer & cheese to be provided with good friendship and support during this difficult season for the adults. With a Sausage Sizzle for the children while they play games at the Tennis Club.

A discussion on the new date will take place on Monday night at the P & F meeting.
