Returning to School

Returning to school can be a nervous time and you may have many questions. Download and read the story below to help understand what it will be like coming back to school.

Stay at home if you are sick

If you feel sick let your mum or dad know. They will help you decide if you should stay home. If you are sick you can help others to be safe by staying at home.

Why are some kids not coming to school?

Some students will need to stay at home because they may have a bit of a health problem and need to be extra, extra safe.

Some children may have someone in their family who has a serious health problem and if they brought home any illness, it could cause problems for that family member.

For some children, their parents may have a very special reason to keep them at home and we respect that.

You Are Safe At School?

Yes, you are safe. We can keep each other safe at school by doing some important things. You will see these posters when you come back to school.

Get Your Lunch Box Ready

Remember not to bring nuts or eggs to school. If you are in Year 1 you can't bring fish such as cans of salmon or tuna or sushi to school.
