Creative Arts
The Creative Arts team would like to welcome all our students back to on-site learning. We are amazed at how well you took up the challenge of remote learning. The artworks you sent, using the natural objects found in our backyards and parks, were all so very unique and extraordinarily beautiful.
We hope families have had time to view our on-line gallery to share and celebrate the work of our imaginative artists at MPW.
Last week the Foundation/1/2's created some fabulous artworks on site. The artworks spreading across the playground, and in some cases in the Performance space when weather unsuitable to create outside, is a continuation and extension of our Term 2 online learning project.
Our unit "It's all natural" was inspired by British environmental artist and photographer, Andy Goldsworthy.
While Claudia and I are not on-site at this point, we will be continuing to plan our art activities and continue to check in with all our classes.
We miss seeing all those smiling faces. In the interim we are very lucky to have Raine on-site in Creative Arts who is always a fantastic addition to our team.
Finally don't forget to bring your visual arts diary or other artworks into Creative Arts to share
Have fun and take care,
Sue & Claudia
