Principal's Report

I would like to take this opportunity to once again applaud our families and students in navigating these last few months. The upcoming holidays provide an opportunity for our students, families and staff to have a well-earned break, everyone has worked extremely hard this term. For our senior students this is a good chance to consolidate the learning done in Units one and three by reviewing and summarising the topics covered.

There are still many challenges ahead, but I have confidence in our community to work through these challenges together. With open communication and surety of intent, we will come through this a stronger and more connected community.

Please continue to communicate with us with any issues or concerns you have, and remember that we are here for your children, to help them navigate the challenges they face and to give them the best opportunities for their future lives.

College Uniform

Students are reminded that the following items continue to be not approved as school uniform and students may be sent home to change into appropriate uniform:

  • Hoodies – As of the beginning of next term hoodies will not be allowed and if worn may be confiscated
  • Leggings/Skins
  • Piercings – Students will be asked to remove these items and they may be kept for parent pick up
  • Hats – Must be caps that have the school logo. All other brand label caps may be confiscated

Attendance

A new term is a great time to re-focus on student attendance and going to school every day is the single most important part of education. There is further information on the ‘Attendance’ page of this newsletter.

Enjoy the break and stay well.
