Semester Two Wellbeing Representatives
Congratulations to the very patient and deserving Wellbeing Representatives. They not only received their badge and certificate but also took back to their classrooms some fun activities to teach their classmates during lunch and recess. Each classroom has a set which includes elastics, marbles, knuckles and pick up sticks with rules and game variations to play together. Playing games allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. As children begin to master their world, play helps children develop new competencies that lead to enhanced confidence and the resiliency they will need to face future challenges.
Parenting in the Digital World Webinar
Thank you to the 65 families at St Brigid’s who attended the webinar last night. I hope you found it as informative as what I did. According to the 2020 Growing up in Digital Australia Survey, children own around three digital devices each and spend some time on them everyday.
