Principal's News

All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

Dear families,

I hope you have all had a lovely week and enjoyed the mild weather.

On Sunday May 22 and Sunday May 29 our Yr 4 students will be receiving their First Communion. Please keep these children in your prayers as they prepare for this Sacrament.

Working Bee

Thank you to the families who helped at the working bee, last Saturday morning.

We were able to achieve moving Team kids to the multi purpose room and preparing for the Administration staff and Leadership to move to Rooms 1,2 & 3 for the start of the new building.

Tanbark and topping was spread around the garden and path areas and it looks great. The friendship tree was completed and is looking stunning on the fence opposite the new building.

Naplan

Yr 3 and 5 have just about completed their NAPLAN for this year. It was the first year of online testing and it went very well. All the students have done a super job.

Aladdin

Timetable for the Musical across the four nights will be publish in the next 2 weeks, it is a little more complicated as Kilbreda's auditorium hold 400 seats so we need to think about the placing of grades and families to maximise the number of seats that will be available to families.

I would like to hold a meeting for all parents who are interested in helping with the musical. It will be on Thursday 2 June at 3.30pm. An Operoo will be sent out to ask you to complete so I have an idea of who is interested and the area you would like to help in.
