Summer Sport

Our summer sport season is underway for students in Gr 5/6 competing in Soccer, Handball and Hot Shots Tennis competitions against schools in the Ascot Vale District.

We are also excited to be having specialist Hockey Coaches from Essendon Hockey Club running clinics at school as part of the Sport Education program.

MPW Blue v Ascot Vale at home

MPW Gold v St Mary’s away (Handball and Tennis matches at St Mary’s Primary School, Ascot Vale, Soccer at Maribyrnong Park)

Round 5 (23/03/18) 9:30 – 10:45am:

MPW Gold v Avondale at Home (Soccer at Maribyrnong Park)

MPW Blue v Ascot Vale West away (Soccer, Handball & Tennis all playing at Ascot Vale West Primary)

District Swimming

Well done to all the students who represented MPW at the Ascot Vale District Swimming  Carnival on Friday 2nd March.  MPW had a great day out finishing 3rd Overall.

Congratulations to all place- getters.  Students who finished 1st or 2nd in their event will now compete at Division Swimming on Tuesday 20th March at St Albans Leisure Centre.  Times of events will be given when they are available.

Thanks to all the supporters who helped out on the day.

2018 Ride2School Day

National Ride2School Day is Friday 23rd March. 

We are encouraging as many students to ride, scoot, skate or walk to school on this day. 

This is also a great opportunity to discuss road safety, environmental issues and being active as a family.
